What are five things that you can't live without?

The five things I can’t live without would be music, books, coffee, films and Halloween.

What's your life's motto or advice that you live by?

Some advice I live by is to always to my best and be kind to everyone.

What's your favorite color?

My favorite colors are black and red.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie tends to change every time I see a new film. There are so many movies I love watching in any spare time I have. I just watched Weapons by Zach Cregger a couple weeks ago and it was a phenomenal movie.

What is your favorite TV show?

I have so many favorite TV shows so it's hard to answer this question. By far the TV show I have re-watched the most would be Gilmore Girls. The show is nostalgic to me in so many ways. It also holds a special place in my heart as my mom, and I watched it as I grew up as a teenager.

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name?

I currently have no pets.

What is your favorite place that you've traveled to?

Last year I traveled to Solvang CA. It was so much fun, next year I hope to continue to travel and explore the world.

What is your favorite food?

Some of my favorite foods include, Italian food and Mexican food.

What made you want to start acting?

I actually started acting out in community theatre when I was 11 or 12-years-old. Once I started middle school, I started to realize that I could do acting on screen. When I was younger, I always performed for my family and said I wanted to be an actor, but it was only until my pre-teen/teen years that I started to get into and working in the industry. I remember my mom taking me to one of the studio tours and I recall looking at her and saying, “you can do this for a job, that’s so cool”. I got very into the entire industry processes and was inspired to continue to be creative and create as an actor.

What is the most difficult thing about being an actor?

Honestly, if you are an actor who is just starting out in the industry that is the hardest part. Just getting your foot in the door without anyone to guide you was extremely hard for me and my parents when I first started to navigate the industry. I have been working at breaking down barriers in this industry and furthering my career for around 8 years and I barely have scraped the surface of all my career goals. In fact, this whole topic inspired me to launch my own podcast. Its titled “The Bella Backstage Podcast”. On the podcast I interview everyone in the industry including but not limited to actors, models, content creators, musicians and activists. I like to give a platform to actors who are just starting out to tell their stories. In doing so it shows the audience that if they want to follow their dreams of being in the industry it's possible. Starting in 2026 we will have a consistent schedule of interviews going up on Spotify and YouTube. Follow us on Instagram to stay up to date. @thebellabackstagepodcast.

How do you prepare for auditions?

To be completely honest I’m the worst at auditioning. It's a little strange to think about because auditioning is more than half of my job. I struggle with anxiety in my personal and professional life, because of this I prepare for auditions with a lot of movement like exercise and grounding exercises. Once the camera comes on it all falls into place, and my anxious feelings fade away. This process has definitely been a learning process, but it has gotten better the further I go in my career. The industry is full of rejection.

What is your advice on how to handle it?

Handling rejection has been something I knew was a huge thing coming into the industry. As a teen and pre-teen, I did so much research to try to fully understand the industry. Once I got an opportunity to network and speak to working actors; a lot of the advice I got was to not work in the industry unless I really loved it because if I was looking for just the perks of acting, I would be drained really fast. From early on I understood how hard it was going to be but that doesn't mean it was any easier to accept rejection. I think it helped me a lot to start young because yes, I LOVE acting but I also have so much other stuff going on that when I got to act or auditions or take classes it was time I cherished. Now it’s just as hard but I really try to remember that when I get these opportunities they were for a reason and I go into everything just telling myself to do the best I can. That’s all I can really do as an actor and a person and if it's meant to be in the end then it will work out. All of this to say, I think part of handling rejection is to have something else that you are passionate about and do it but only do it for fun don't let it become something of monetary value.

You have had many wonderful roles. What has been the one role that you relate to the most?

One of the roles I have related to the most would be the role I'm currently working as I love the character so much. I'm not able to share too much about the project but it's been such a learning experience for me as both an actor and a person and it's been such a blessing to be part of the project. Stay tuned! More Details coming early 2026.

If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why?

The perfect role for me would be a film, specifically a Horror film where I may or may not be a Final Girl. I would love for the set to have people I look up to in the acting world. I would like the role to be challenging but something I connect with as a person. Maybe the role requires intense character work, but it would present some type of challenge.

In addition to music and acting, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important?

In addition to loving film and music, I love to learn. Specifically the topic sociology. Learning about people and their beliefs and behaviors is something I find so fascinating. With this being said, I am an extreme empath, and I think it's very important to give back to any community you can.

Who is your favorite musician/actor and why?

I have so many favorite musicians and actors. Of course, the following actors are not limited to America Ferrera, Jamie Lee Curtis, Melissa Barrera, Viola Davis, Emma Stone and Rita Moreno. There are so many more, but it would take up so much space!  As far as musicians I grew up listening to music all the time. Music has been something constant in my life and I'm so grateful for it. I love 80’s music, even 50’s music and here are some of my favorite musicians/singers: Cuco, Tyler, The Creator, Maná, Frank Ocean, SZA, Kali Uchis, Tame Impala, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac and so many more.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style has been something that has changed so much over the years. The one thing that has stayed true is that I LOVE thrifting so much. I really try to use my clothing until I can't anymore and when it comes to that point I try to repurpose it if I can. I would describe my style as an amalgamation of different styles such as 2000’s fashion, mixed with alternative style. I often create outfits with one piece I thrifted that I love and add and layer from there. I also love accessories that add so much to an outfit. Fashion has always been another way I express myself. I think it's so much fun to find your own personal style and be creative with outfits.

Who are some of your favorite people in the industry that you have worked with?
I have met so many wonderful people over the years it's hard to narrow it down to a few. Every team I work with has taught me something new and brought me so much joy.

What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps?
If someone came to me and asked for advice to get started in the industry, I’d give the following advice. Immerse your life with creativity even if there is no big “success” at the beginning and continue to create things. Find hobbies and outlets to keep you grounded and find a love for things that are outside of the industry. Last but not least, know your worth and value as a human, as a creative and as a performer. The gift of being creative to the world is such a beautiful thing and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Who would be your dream collaboration and why?
My dream collaboration would be  to be able to work on an A24 production. It would also be a dream to work with well-known directors such as Tim Burton or Robert Eggers.

What can we expect to see from you in the future?
There are currently a lot of projects in the works. In 2025 I took matters into my own hands and decided I would create while the industry slowed down for me. I started to write the stories myself and create the projects I would want to be on instead of waiting for that opportunity. I  have started the process of independently creating my own film. I also will be seen in a horror film starring as “Danny” In the Film titled Time and Place with director Jordan Paige Stay tuned with my social media to see some announcements coming early 2026.

If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her?
If I could talk to my future self I would tell her,  I'm proud of her, no matter what she decides to do in her life. I would also say it's okay to slow down and enjoy the little things.

Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience?

Thank you for taking the time to read this, little me would be shocked by getting this opportunity. I am eternally grateful for every step closer I get to continue to create for the rest of my life. Thank you to my amazing team over at Imagine PR and my amazing agents over at JSTA.
